How this book relates to real life situations?  

This book relates to real life situations because represents problems that all people will have if they get lost on an island, in the case if someone get lost the principal issues will be get food refuge and ofcourse try to get out of the islan. In this book the children face diferent types of situation that involves lots of situations in real life, like when they had to decide who will be the leader, because in the case if they dont have one the survival  would be a chaos, another one will be when the children are frightened  for the beast thats lives in the island, because most children have some fear in their lifes, another is when they have some social problems, obviously all people in the world have the same type of problems so thats why this book represents a lot of situation that could  happend in real life.

1- Ralph may resume the order of the children?. How this affects the future of children and their survival on the island?
2-The child who saw the beast, is telling the truth? and if it is true how they will solve this huge problem?

Question:

Hunts on the beach 

1- What could happen if children are not fed with meat ?

2-Simon to accompany the littluns to reach the fruit of the trees. How  he be responsable if any child falls?

1-Could cause some kind of disorder among children that could have a monster lurking near them ?
2-Which conflicts could cause the fact that the hunters have missed the boat by not putting the signal fire?. How long they'll see another boat that can  rescue them ?

Summery

This chapter tells the story of some children who are lost on an island without adults, in this chapter are known Ralf and Piggy after learning they try to find out if there are more survivors

then piggy found a shell and he thought that can be used to make sounds and find the other kids who were on the plane, after piggy convince blow it near that place were approximately choirboys on the beach that had a sort of leader called jack.

The children decide to choose a leader, and the choirboys vote for Jack but the other children vote for ralf, and Ralf  wins, the new leader asks Jack if he can command the children of the choir to be hunters.

Three children go out to the island to see if there was any signal of  life and if it was an island or not, then when they walk down to the beach they a wild pig caught and one of the hunters take a knife to kill the animal but they cant kill the animal and let it escape after that event they still walking and reach the camp.

 Questions 

1-. What would they eat in the future ?
2-. If jack will do something to be the leader?

Prediction 

   I think in the next chapter the children will have find refuge and something to eat if they have to stay more time in the island

Students raise Money for a good cause 

FERNANDO TOLEDO, A MACKAY STUDENT                                                                                          27 of December 

U.S.A – Some students from Texas, USA, used their own free time in Christmas vacation to raise money to buy gifts for kids that never had a good celebration of Christmas. The students before Christmas asked for money in the street dressing like Santa.                               
       The students, one day before Christmas, went to the orphanage to give the gifts that they bought for the kids and the person that who is in change of the orphanage said "I wish there were more people like you to give these children a better Christmas".                                                               

        When the student leaved from the orphanage, the children asked the students if they wanted to stay a little to play with the gifts that they just gave to the children, when the students stayed, the children said, “the Christmas become the best celebration of the year", so the students were inspired to help in other celebration to help other causes.    

First impression diary entries

First time I meet someone from another country:

I was on vacation in the south of Chile, when I saw three foreign, then the next day I went to a  thermal baths and I saw they so I started talking to know where they were, they said that they were living in Chile for a year and would like to get together one day in Viña del Mar to teach them the city, then they returned to the U.S. when they contacted us after a while to see if I wanted and my family to spend Christmas at home in New York, the answer was yes because we planned this trip and were given the opportunity, when we got home we were taught and immediately went to visit his neighborhood and to know your city named Binghamton after spending two weeks with them I and my family went to Manhattan and they taught us the typical locations shown on television, then we had to lay off because we were going to visit other states ,but we 

continue seeing us when they come to Chile.
In my opinion this type of meeting are very important for the relationship with another countries.

First girl I like

It was a friend from another school because before being in the Mackay School  I was in the German school, we met there obviously in the class I was in that school, but I was not interested in women at that age, but after change of the  school we continue watching and I still like her.

First day at School/My first friends

My first day at school was not in the Mackay School it was at German school, I remember that because when I get that morning at the school five children came to me to know me and we became good friends after I change of school our friendship get less  but we continue seeing us.

DOWNLOADING MUSIC OR/AND MOVIES

 We are going to do a SURVEY about downloading music and movies from the internet

We want to find out: What people think about downloading music and movies from the internet (if is good or bad, or if they think that is legal or illegal).

Downloading music and movies is related to ethics, because in the world is antiethical to get something from the supermarket that you don´t pay, and in some cases people go to Jail, but many people download music and movies from the internet and they don´t pay for them, and that music and movies are not free, is the same thing if we steal something from the supermarket or from another part.

writing a comparison

1-.The different ways the two boys were prepare to school

The first child was prepared only with a scarf that had passed his sister and a potato, also with respect to the majority community would send their children to the school village .
Instead in the other text the child would go to a school that gave him more opportunities he was better prepared, he was with a bottle of cold water and sandwish and a backpack full of books full of pages so he could learn and about  the community it was much more acceptable with regard to education than  the first text.

2-. Attitudes towards education

I agree with the second text because the people of the village had a better idea of ​​education and the child's mother told him that  ^^ GO LONG,BOY, AND LEARN! LEARNING GOING MAKE YOU INTO A MAN ^^ so i suppose that the mother felt proud of his son.

Because they can use their own knowledge to understand that tipe of topic and to use it in a futere life .

Because they know if they are not balance in the future the can´t put in practice their knowledge .

Why they have to principled in ethics in science and technology ?
Because in the future if they are not principled they not be able to follow their dreams because they will not face it .

DOWN SYNDROME
I think about down syndrome, that is not like a bad illness because they always are good in something like in math or in art but only in one area, and be good in a area dont stop them to work or do something usefull in their lifes.
About the article of down syndrome Im agaist of the abortion because they ´re humans and they have the same right´s.

you are in vacation with your family because your son have only 2 month of life and you see a group of tourists and behind they is a bus that is near them but you realize that the group of tourists port a disease that is contagiable and you think that the disease can make a problem with your child but you save them and you go to the hospital because the disease that you have is dangerous to your child but you want to see him and you have to think to say to your child to come to see me or save his life another 2 months.
